Hollywood PAL Cheer Team

Thousands of youth participate in cheerleading and dance teams around the United States.

The Cheer and Dance Program offers teams a wide range of opportunities for young athletes at all skill levels: Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. 
 
Together with National PAL and the American Youth Football League, Hollywood PAL is able to provide online educational courses for its coaches, administrators, and judges on team skill levels for Cheer Teams. Hollywood PAL also offers additional competition opportunities in Sideline Performance Cheer.

With continued education, Hollywood PAL coaching staff provides basic instructions, training, and conditioning for both football games and competitions.

Teams participate on the sidelines at football games for home and most away games. In addition to game day, teams participate in qualifying cheer competitions (League and Region).

Requirements:

  • Age: (6-14)
  • Complete Hollywood PAL Cheerleading Registration Form
    • Practice: Tuesday – Friday (6pm–8pm)
  • Recent Physical (expires after December 1, 2023)
  • Parents Spectators Code of Ethics & Agreement

  • $300.00 (Includes AYFL Cheer Competition) - July 1 Deadline
  • $100.00 (Florida PAL State Cheer Competition) - December 2023 (Optional) - October 1 Deadline
